Candidate Financial Statements

Each candidate who filed a nomination for the 2022 Municipal Election is required to file a Financial Statement (Form 4) with the Clerk in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, no later than Friday March 31, 2023 at 2pm. These financial statements are public documents and are legally required to be made available for inspection and scrutiny on the Township website.

Please note that in accordance with Section 88.23 (9) of the Act, a candidate will not be subject to the default penalties provided for in the Municipal Elections Act if, by no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 1, 2023, the relevant documents as required under section 88.25 are filed and a late filing fee of $500 is paid.

A candidate must file a separate financial statement (and auditor's report, if applicable) for each office in which he/she was nominated, even if he/she later withdrew.
