Township Programming Survey
Help shape Recreation in East Zorra-Tavistock!
The Recreation Advisory Committee and Township staff are seeking your input on potential drop-in programs that could be introduced to better serve our community.
Do you have ideas for new recreational activities or services you’d like to see offered? Now’s your chance to share what you think should be a priority in the upcoming budget year.
Your feedback will help us understand what programs matter most to residents and where we can improve to meet the needs of all ages and interests.

Recreation Advisory Committee
As part of our newly created Parks and Recreation department, and in keeping with the recommendations of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock is seeking members of the community to sit on the Recreation Advisory Committee (RAC). We are looking to fill six (6) volunteer positions, with two (2) members from each of our three electoral wards (Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3).
This Committee will help provide a voice and forum for recreational organizations, and community groups in East Zorra-Tavistock, as well as help identify recommendations regarding community parks, green space, trails, recreational facilities, and programming.
The preferred members will have an interest or experience in recreation and must be a resident of the Township. This will be a volunteer position with a minimum commitment to attend four (4) meetings a year. The meetings will be held in a rotating location within the Township and will be open to the public to attend.
To apply, applicants must submit a cover letter and resume, outlining why they would like to be considered as a member of this committee. Applications will be received until 4:30 pm on Friday January 27th, 2023 and must be sent to hr@ezt.ca

Parks and Recreation Master Plan Surveys
Thank you to everyone who has already filled out the project survey and youth survey , and to those who have encouraged other community members to do the same.
The feedback received from the public will directly guide the parks and recreation project recommendations, such as what amenities and/or programming should be provided in the future.
The project surveys will close for feedback on August 27th, 2021 at 11:45pm.
If you or anyone you know has yet to fill out the survey, please encourage them to do so prior to the survey closing date.
