2022 Budget Public Meeting

The Council of the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock will hold a Public Meeting to consider the 2022 Operating and Capital Budget on Wednesday March 16th, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Innerkip Community Centre.
Any written or verbal comments will be considered by Council at the public meeting. Additional information related to the 2022 Budget is available on the Township's budget page or can be obtained from Karen DePrest, Chief Administrative Officer/Treasurer.
Half Load Season

To keep our Township roads in good condition, East Zorra-Tavistock has a reduced load limit in place during the early spring (half-load season), under By-law 2005-046.
Load Restrictions on Township roads are in effect from March 1 and effective until April 30.
Seasonal load restrictions are put into place to help protect our roads from damage during the spring when the winter’s frost is thawing, and the snow melt and rain have saturated the road base material. Equipment exceeding the weight restriction...
2022 Interim Tax Bill First Installment

A reminder that the first installment of the 2022 Interim Tax Bill is due on Monday February 28, 2022.

Road Transfers

As of January 1, 2022 Oxford County will assume ownership of the 16th Line from Oxford Road 4 to Oxford Road 8, and Maplewood Side Road from Oxford Road 59 to Oxford Road 5. This means Oxford County will take responsibility for all road repairs and maintenance, including snow plowing. Please note, your home address will not change. East Zorra-Tavistock will assume ownership of the access road off Oxford Road 2.

Tavistock Yard Waste Depot Reopening

After undergoing improvements by Oxford County, the Tavistock leaf and yard waste depot located at 18 Hendershot Street will reopen on Monday December 6, 2021. The project included a new concrete pad and blocks, soil remediation and grading. Yard paving and landscaping will be completed in spring 2022 when the weather warms up. The depot is open 24/7. The temporary depot located at 381 William Street will close as of December 6, 2021.
