2021 Property Assessment Notices

MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) is in the process of sending out 2021 Property Assessment Notices.

You may receive a notice if there has been a change to your property data over the year including ownership, legal description or school support, or due to a change in value or classification.

For property owners receiving a notice, the reason for the updated assessment will be printed on your notice and will refer you to the MPAC Notices Information Page. 

COVID-19 Vaccine Update Ages 5 to 11

Southwesten Public Health has announced that starting Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 8:00 am youth ages 5 – 11, are eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. 

Southwestern Public Health Unit will require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent at the appointment for anyone younger than 12.

Book online or call 1-800-922-0096 extension 9, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Appointments will be limited this week, with more opening up for the week of November 29 and beyond.

Notice of Fall 2021 Water Main Flushing

Fall water main flushing is starting in East Zorra-Tavistock. Water main flushing is an important maintenance activity to keep the water systems working effectively. 

Tavistock

The water system will be flushed on Sunday October 24, 2021 between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. and from Monday October 25, 2021 to Friday October 29, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. 

Innerkip

The water system will be flushed from Monday November 1, 2021 to Thursday November 4, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Tavistock Planned Power Outage

In order for ERTH Power to make improvements to the electricity supply system, a temporary power interruption is planned for October 24, 2021 from 4:00 am to 6:00 am (weather permitting). All customers in the Town of Tavistock will be affected.

Tavistock Yard Waste Depot Update

The Tavistock leaf and yard waste depot has been temporarily relocated to 381 William Street, Tavistock.
The Hendershot Street leaf and yard waste depot is temporarily closed while undergoing improvements. Hours of operation at the William Street location are Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
