Christmas Holiday Information
The Hickson Municipal Office will close on Friday December 22, 2006 at 4:30 pm and re-open Tuesday January 2, 2007 at 8:30 am.
This includes General Administration, Building Department, Roads Administration and Fire Administration. Emergency Services
and Road Maintenance operations are not affected by this closure.
Real Christmas trees can be dropped off until January 28, 2007 at the Hickson Park, Innerkip Park, and Tavistock Park to be mulched.
Please remove all decorations and plastic bags used to transport trees.
Tavistock residents should note the following change in the garbage and recycling schedule. Recycling will be picked up on
Tuesday December 26, 2006 and garbage collection will be on Wednesday December 27, 2006. All other areas will be on their regular schedule.
Please have your garbage and/or recycling out to the curb by 7:00 am. *Remember, wrapping paper and gift boxes are recyclable!
